Burke Museum explores natural history and cultural heritage on the University of Washington campus in Seattle.

Fossils, biological collections and Northwest Native art connect with visible working laboratories, offering a view of both museum displays and the research behind them.
Use the current museum building on Memorial Way Northeast, opened in 2019, rather than the former building’s location. Check admission and holiday openings before traveling; the museum normally closes on Mondays. Public galleries and visible work areas do not provide unrestricted access to collection stores or active laboratories.
Visitor details reviewed October 27, 2026. Consult primary place information for background, and confirm current access and operating arrangements before visiting. View on OpenStreetMap.
