Green Lake Park surrounds its namesake lake with lawns, recreation spaces and a well-used paved loop in Seattle.

The waterside route offers a continuous walk through an urban neighborhood, with trees, waterfowl and open views providing changing points of interest along the way.
Share the busy loop according to posted lane and direction rules: pedestrians and wheeled users have designated sides. Keep dogs leashed and move slowly in congested areas. Beach services, boat activities and community-center facilities have separate seasonal schedules. Check current project notices and water-quality guidance before planning a particular activity.
Visitor details reviewed October 27, 2026. Consult primary place information for background, and confirm current access and operating arrangements before visiting. View on OpenStreetMap.
