Cape Ann Museum’s downtown campus explores the art, history and maritime culture of Cape Ann in Gloucester.

Its collections connect the region’s communities with artists and industries shaped by the coast.
The renovated downtown campus reopened in June 2026. Check current opening and exhibitions before arrival at Pleasant Street. The photograph shows the earlier museum exterior, before that renovation. The separate CAM Green campus has different access and seasonal arrangements, so confirm which location your ticket or program uses. Guided walks, research and other special activities require their own planning.
