Carle Park combines mature trees, paths and public art in an established Urbana neighborhood.

Lorado Taft’s Lincoln the Lawyer sculpture and the Hickman Tree Walk give visitors more to look for than open lawn alone, while the setting remains useful for a quiet picnic or short walk.
Use the park district’s tree-walk information to identify specimens and follow established routes. Recreation spaces and the historic pavilion have their own use arrangements. The photograph shows part of the park’s wooded landscape rather than the Lincoln statue itself; foliage and seasonal facilities vary through the year.
