Dodds Park is a large Champaign recreation area with sports facilities and room for organized outdoor activities.

Its scale and open setting make it useful for attending competitions or finding a park stop away from the more enclosed university and downtown streets.
Check Champaign Park District’s current information for field reservations, event schedules and permitted general use. A particular sports area may be booked even when other parts of the park are available. The photograph shows the entrance to the sports complex rather than an open invitation to use every field.
Visitor details reviewed October 18, 2026. Check official visitor information for current access, admission, and operating arrangements. View on OpenStreetMap.
