Gies Memorial Stadium is the University of Illinois football venue in Champaign.

Its large stands and campus setting make a game-day visit a different experience from exploring the university’s museums or gardens, with the event itself determining the atmosphere and access.
Use the current athletics schedule and game-day guide for tickets, permitted bags and parking. The photograph shows the stadium during its 2008 rededication, before its present naming and later changes. It is an archival venue view rather than a depiction of the current season or a promise of access between games.
