Fairport Harbor Marine Museum and Lighthouse preserves the historic hilltop light station in Fairport Harbor.

Its museum setting connects the building with Lake Erie navigation and the community’s maritime history.
Check the historical society’s current seasonal opening before expecting museum or tower access. The photograph shows the historic lighthouse beside its keeper’s house during an earlier visit. This is distinct from the west breakwater light visible from Headlands Beach. Tower visits and special openings may have additional requirements, so confirm availability and accessibility directly with the operator before making a special journey.
