First Amendment Museum explores the freedoms protected by the First Amendment in Augusta’s historic Gannett House.

Guided interpretation connects those rights with history, civic life and the house’s publishing-family background.
Check the museum’s current visitor page and book an available guided tour before arrival. The operation uses temporary exhibits and limited guided access while developing its longer-term museum plans. The photograph shows the house exterior rather than a completed future exhibition. Group visits and educational programs have separate arrangements, and an ordinary exterior view should not be mistaken for unrestricted indoor access.
