Freedom Park brings naval history to the Missouri River waterfront in Omaha.

Preserved vessels including the minesweeper USS Hazard and submarine USS Marlin anchor an outdoor collection of military equipment.
The photograph shows the actual USS Hazard at the park. This is a seasonal museum setting with limited staffed openings, rather than an unrestricted daily waterfront park. Confirm the current Saturday visiting schedule and vessel-tour availability with the city before travelling, especially outside the warmer months. Individual interiors may be inaccessible or closed. River flooding, maintenance and volunteer availability can affect operations. Follow authorized visitor routes.
Visitor details reviewed October 26, 2026. Check official visitor information for current access, admission, and operating arrangements. View on OpenStreetMap.
