Hoboken Historical Museum presents changing exhibitions about the city’s people, architecture and waterfront history.

It occupies a former machine-shop building, connecting the museum’s setting with Hoboken’s industrial past.
Review current exhibitions before arriving and check the afternoon visiting schedule. The museum is on Hudson Street in the northern part of Hoboken, separate from the fire museum downtown. Allow time for individual stories and any upper-gallery displays that are open. Walking tours, talks and group activities may require separate registration or tickets.
