Empty Sky is New Jersey's September 11 memorial at the northern end of Liberty State Park.

Two parallel stainless-steel walls carry the names of people with ties to the state who died in the attacks. A path between them frames the view toward Lower Manhattan, creating a place for remembrance within the busy harbor landscape.
Approach this as a quiet commemorative visit and leave time to read the names. It can be combined with the nearby historic railroad terminal, but terminal-plaza improvements may affect the route between them. Check the park's current construction and access notices and follow the signed pedestrian paths.
