Liberty Science Center brings hands-on science to the western side of Liberty State Park in Jersey City.

Its exhibitions connect experiments, technology, living animals, and the Hudson River environment, while the planetarium offers a separate way to explore astronomy. The mix makes it a substantial indoor destination rather than a quick stop on the waterfront promenade.
Look at the day's gallery and show schedule before buying tickets, particularly if a planetarium presentation is central to your visit. Programs have their own timing and admission arrangements, and adult evening events differ from family visiting hours. Allow space in the plan for activities that invite you to stay and investigate.
