Hollywood Heritage Museum explores early filmmaking inside the historic Lasky-DeMille Barn near the Hollywood Bowl.

Photographs, artifacts and changing exhibitions connect the modest studio building with the development of the film industry. Its small scale offers a focused alternative to a larger entertainment museum outing.
The museum ordinarily opens on weekends and the first Thursday of each month, with advance reservations encouraged. Special events have separate terms, and hours can change. Use the museum’s Hollywood Bowl Lot D arrival instructions, especially on performance days, and confirm parking conditions. Group visits during the week require an appointment.
