Runyon Canyon Park offers hillside walking and wide views over Los Angeles from above Hollywood.

Its trails provide a substantial change of pace from the surrounding streets, with different routes and gradients shaping the outing. Clear conditions can reveal recognizable city landmarks across the hills.
The city currently lists the park as open while the West Trail remains closed. Use permitted routes and check current notices before setting out. There are no restroom facilities, and dogs may be off leash only in designated areas. Carry water, plan for heat and daylight, and respect barriers protecting closed or sensitive sections.
