Irvine Regional Park is in the city of Orange, despite the Irvine name.

Oak and sycamore trees shade lawns and picnic areas, while ponds, trails, and a small railroad add different ways to enjoy the grounds. The historic regional park offers a foothill landscape close to urban Orange County.
Check OC Parks' current entry arrangements and the operators of any activities you want to include. Vehicle access can close when the park reaches capacity on busy weekends, so plan your arrival accordingly. Zoo visits, train rides, and other concessions have arrangements separate from a simple park visit.
Visitor details reviewed October 18, 2026. Check official visitor information for current access, admission, and operating arrangements. View on OpenStreetMap.
