Long Lake Regional Park combines lake shoreline, woodland and wetland habitat in New Brighton.

Walking and cycling routes connect recreation areas with quieter natural landscapes, offering different ways to explore the park.
The photograph shows the actual relocated railway depot within the park, now associated with the New Brighton History Center. Museum access has its own schedule. Check current county maps and notices for trails, seasonal beach operation and reserved picnic areas. Boat launching and fishing follow separate rules. The natural area around Rush Lake is distinct from the recreational lakefront, so use designated routes and respect habitat restoration work.
