Manito Park combines broad parkland with several distinct garden areas on Spokane's South Hill.

Manito Park combines broad parkland with five major garden areas on Spokane’s South Hill: Duncan Garden, Rose Hill, the Lilac Garden, Ferris Perennial Garden and the Nishinomiya Tsutakawa Japanese Garden.
The named areas introduce different planting styles, from formal arrangements to rose collections and a Japanese landscape. Ponds and connecting paths link these settings within the larger park. Seasonal flowering changes the displays, so the grounds offer a sequence of garden environments rather than one flower show that looks the same throughout the year.
