Marra-Desimone Park in Seattle’s South Park neighborhood combines public open space with an urban farming landscape.

Gardens, a small stream and a path toward a grassy rise provide a different outdoor setting from a conventional sports park.
The city lists the entrance at 9026 Fourth Avenue South and identifies continuing park-improvement work. The photograph shows actual cultivated ground at Marra Farm. Use permitted public paths and respect active growing plots; this is not an invitation to enter or harvest from gardens. Check project and program notices before planning a group activity, volunteering session or visit that depends on particular facilities.
