Middle Harbor Shoreline Park opens former industrial waterfront to public paths, bay views and habitat observation in Oakland.

Port activity and restored shallow-water landscapes create a distinctive setting for understanding the working shoreline.
The photograph shows the park beside the harbor during an earlier visit. Stay on public paths and out of operating port areas and sensitive habitat. Picnic tables with barbecue pits require reservations, while other areas have different availability arrangements. Check current Port of Oakland notices, wind and weather before travelling, and confirm the entrance and accessible route suitable for your group.
