Port View Park offers a waterfront perspective on San Francisco Bay and Oakland’s working port.

Walkways, benches and fishing access sit at the western end of Seventh Street, beside views of container-terminal activity.
The photograph shows the actual park setting. Use the Port of Oakland’s current directions and access notices to reach the public recreation area without entering terminal or railway property. The park is distinct from neighboring Middle Harbor Shoreline Park. Seafarers’ facilities and any indoor interpretation have separate access arrangements. Follow fishing and shoreline rules, respect maintenance barriers and check current conditions before relying on individual facilities.
Visitor details reviewed October 26, 2026. Check official visitor information for current access, admission, and operating arrangements. View on OpenStreetMap.
