Mike Reid Park combines outdoor play, court sports and recreation space on Lavergne Avenue in Skokie.

Exercise equipment, picnic areas and native planting add variety to a neighborhood visit.
The photograph shows the actual park under its former Lawler Park name. The district renamed it for Mike Reid in 2024, so older photographs and maps may differ. Check current conditions for playground and court use, including any scheduled games. Portable restrooms are seasonal, generally available April through October. Respect reservations, keep entrances clear and supervise children around the shared play and street areas.
