Mile Square Regional Park provides a large area of lakes, lawns and recreation facilities within Fountain Valley.

Its mix of open space and organized activity makes it suitable for a picnic or a longer park visit, with different sections serving different kinds of recreation.
Use the county park map to choose an entrance and check vehicle-entry fees, current notices and the hours for any specific facility. Golf, archery and reserved sports areas have separate arrangements. The photograph shows one lake within the park rather than the entire recreation complex.
Visitor details reviewed October 18, 2026. Check official visitor information for current access, admission, and operating arrangements. View on OpenStreetMap.
