Diego Sepulveda Adobe in Costa Mesa preserves a small historic building overlooking the Santa Ana River area.

Interpretation connects its earlier role as an estancia with later ranching history and the changing uses of the surrounding landscape.
The historical society currently opens the adobe on the first and third Saturdays of the month in the afternoon. Confirm the schedule before traveling, since general park access does not guarantee an interior visit. Take time with the building and its historical context, including the Indigenous communities affected by the mission and rancho systems.
