Fairview Park protects a large area of open space in Costa Mesa, with trails crossing several habitats near the Santa Ana River corridor.

Its broad views and quieter natural areas provide a different experience from a more intensively landscaped neighborhood park.
Use the city’s current trail map to select a walking or cycling route and stay on designated paths to protect sensitive habitats and cultural resources. Check restoration and access notices before setting out. Bring water and allow for sun and wind in exposed areas; organized activities and model-aircraft use follow separate park rules.
Visitor details reviewed October 18, 2026. Check official visitor information for current access, admission, and operating arrangements. View on OpenStreetMap.
