Mill Creek Streamway Park follows a long creek corridor through Shawnee, Lenexa and Olathe.

Its Gary L. Haller Trail provides a regional route for walking and cycling through varied open-space habitats.
The photograph shows yellow warblers recorded within the streamway during an earlier visit. The Northgate section in Olathe is closed through the end of 2026, and additional closures affect the route north of Midland Access. Do not plan on an uninterrupted journey along the full corridor. Choose an open segment using current district notices and maps, share paths considerately and respect construction barriers.
Visitor details reviewed October 25, 2026. Check official visitor information for current access, admission, and operating arrangements. View on OpenStreetMap.
