The Mitchell Park Domes brings contrasting plant environments together under three recognizable glass structures in Milwaukee.

The Mitchell Park Domes house three contrasting plant environments in Milwaukee: the Tropical Dome, Desert Dome and Show Dome. Their glass structures make the conservatory recognizable from outside, while the separate interiors allow very different growing conditions.
The Tropical and Desert domes focus on plants adapted to those climates. The Show Dome hosts changing horticultural presentations, so its displays differ from the longer-lived collections in the other two structures. Installation periods and maintenance can affect an individual dome without describing the operating status of the whole conservatory.
