Montaña de Oro State Park protects a dramatic coastal landscape south of Los Osos, with cliffs, coves, inland hills and a historic ranch setting.

Its trails offer a substantial outdoor destination along the San Luis Obispo County coast.
The photograph shows flowering aloe within the park during an earlier visit, rather than the spring wildflowers that gave the park its name. Choose an activity using current maps and alerts. Coralina Cove access is closed because of erosion, and dogs are prohibited on trails. Camping requires separate arrangements. Stay on authorized routes and allow for exposed coastal conditions and changing weather.
