The Museum of American Heritage explores technological innovation before the digital era in Palo Alto’s historic Williams House.

Mechanical, electrical and everyday household objects show how earlier inventions changed work, communication and domestic life.
The photograph shows the actual museum’s entrance sign. Check current opening days and exhibition information before travelling; regular admission is offered on selected days, with workshops and special events scheduled separately. The collection is larger than the material on display, so particular objects cannot be guaranteed on view. Contact the museum about group arrangements or accessibility and respect the boundaries of occupied staff and collection spaces.
