Museum of the American Railroad preserves full-size railway equipment and presents rail history in Frisco.

Guided walking tours introduce the outdoor rolling-stock collection, while TrainTopia provides a separate indoor model-railroad experience within Frisco Discovery Center. The photograph shows part of the actual outdoor collection rather than a passenger excursion train.
Check the current walking-tour calendar carefully, including reduced or canceled departures. Start through the museum's visitor operation at 8004 North Dallas Parkway, Suite 400. Outdoor collection access follows guided arrangements, and the indoor model exhibit has different hours. Review walking-tour accessibility before booking.
