Museum of Us explores human experiences and cultural questions through exhibitions in San Diego’s Balboa Park.

Its historic California Building, with a prominent dome and tower, is a landmark along the park’s central pedestrian route. Displays encourage visitors to consider identity, community and the ways cultures interpret the world.
Museum admission and California Tower tours are separate purchases; tower access requires stairs and is not wheelchair accessible. Check current tickets, exhibition guidance and holiday openings before visiting. Balboa Park parking now requires payment. The historic St. Francis Chapel is not generally open for public viewing.
