The Mystery Spot offers guided demonstrations of unusual visual and balance effects in a redwood setting outside Santa Cruz.

A tilted cabin and its surrounding landscape form the focus of this longstanding roadside attraction.
The photograph shows the entrance during an earlier visit. Treat the experience as an entertaining perspective attraction rather than a scientific demonstration of altered gravity. Advance tickets are strongly recommended, and visitors are asked to arrive early for their assigned tour. Parking has a separate charge. Check current opening, slopes and mobility requirements before booking, and arrange larger vehicles directly with staff.
