Nevada State Capitol is the historic domed government building in central Carson City.

Its architecture, public displays and Battle Born Hall museum connect the state’s civic life with its history before and after statehood.
Public admission is free, with visiting hours separate from those of the Nevada State Museum elsewhere on Carson Street. Check current building access and security arrangements before arriving. Self-guided materials are available, while guided tours depend on volunteer availability and advance arrangements where required. Treat working offices and restricted areas with respect as you explore the public spaces.
