The Oklahoma City National Memorial honors those affected by the 1995 bombing through a contemplative outdoor landscape and an accompanying museum.

The Oklahoma City National Memorial honors those affected by the April 19, 1995 bombing through an outdoor memorial and an accompanying museum. The Field of Empty Chairs marks the lives of the 168 people killed, with smaller chairs representing the children.
The Reflecting Pool occupies the former course of Northwest Fifth Street. The Survivor Tree, an American elm that withstood the bombing, stands nearby as another part of the memorial landscape. The outdoor spaces provide a setting for remembrance, while the museum supplies historical interpretation and personal accounts under separate admission arrangements.
