Oklahoma City Zoo combines animal habitats, landscaped grounds, and conservation interpretation on the city's northeastern side.

A visit can introduce wildlife from very different environments while raising questions about habitats and the work needed to protect them. The size of the site makes route planning helpful, especially for visitors with children.
Allow several hours and check current habitat, attraction, and ticket notices before arriving. Animal visibility varies naturally, and seasonal weather can affect both the walking experience and the operation of particular facilities.
