- Madison
Orton Park is a mature neighborhood green on Madison’s near east side.

Large trees, open grass and recreation facilities give it a community-focused character close to the surrounding residential streets. The photograph shows the actual park entrance and tree-filled grounds.
Consult current city information for events, field reservations and posted park rules before planning an outing. Play areas and informal recreation spaces are shared with neighborhood users, while organized activities may require permission or a reservation. Keep paths and residential entrances clear, supervise children around equipment and follow current pet restrictions. Choose a route suited to the weather and available daylight.
