Yahara River Parkway
- Park
- Madison
Yahara River Parkway provides public green space along the river corridor in Madison.

Water views, neighborhood bridges and riverside routes create opportunities for a short urban walk between nearby streets and lakefront areas. The photograph shows the actual river setting toward Lake Monona.
Use the city’s current park information and pedestrian routes to choose an access point. Crossings and narrow paths are shared spaces, so keep clear of other walkers and cyclists. Fishing is subject to the appropriate state license and local rules. Follow posted restrictions along the water, avoid private riverfront property and check current conditions before planning a longer route through the surrounding neighborhoods.
