Plummer House preserves the Rochester home and garden setting associated with physician Henry Plummer.

Stone architecture, a bluff-top landscape, and garden areas give the property interest beyond its connection with Mayo Clinic history. It is also used for private functions, so the experience of a casual grounds visit differs from an advertised interior open house.
Check the city's current availability before setting out: private bookings can reserve the grounds as well as the building. Interior access follows scheduled openings or arrangements rather than unrestricted daily entry. Wear shoes suitable for slopes and garden paths, and respect any areas closed for events or maintenance.
