Russian Gulch State Park combines a sheltered coastal inlet with wooded inland trails near Mendocino.

The bridge over the cove is a recognizable feature, while the larger park landscape provides reasons for a longer outdoor visit.
Check current state-park maps, trail notices and camping arrangements before arrival. Shoreline access and inland routes have different conditions, and a beach visit does not include a campsite or every trail automatically. The photograph shows the beach and bridge at the coastal end of the park rather than the whole reserve.
