Skiles Test Nature Park preserves woodland and meadow on a former estate in Indianapolis.

A paved route and more natural side trails provide a compact nature destination connected with the Fall Creek Greenway.
The photograph shows the park’s woodland during an earlier visit. Choose a route using current Indy Parks information and prepare for gravel or dirt surfaces beyond the paved path. Parking is limited, so use designated spaces and authorized overflow access rather than the road shoulder. Naturalist-led activities have separate registration arrangements. Keep to marked public routes and leave plants and wildlife undisturbed.
Visitor details reviewed October 25, 2026. Check official visitor information for current access, admission, and operating arrangements. View on OpenStreetMap.
