Sloss Furnaces preserves the industrial structures of a former iron-producing site in Birmingham.

Furnaces, pipes, and working spaces reveal the physical scale of an industry central to the city's development. Interpretation and metal-arts activity give the landmark a public role beyond the machinery itself.
Check the current visitor schedule and event notices before arriving. Follow the designated visitor route and barriers within the industrial setting; some structures and working areas are restricted. Tours, classes, and performances have separate arrangements, and outdoor surfaces and weather conditions should shape the visit you plan.
Visitor details reviewed October 18, 2026. Check official visitor information for current access, admission, and operating arrangements. View on OpenStreetMap.
