The Tennessee Aquarium follows aquatic environments from rivers toward the ocean through its River Journey and Ocean Journey buildings on Chattanooga's downtown waterfront.

It provides a substantial indoor wildlife visit while connecting the exhibits to the region's freshwater habitats and conservation work.
Allow time for both buildings and check how timed entry applies to your ticket. IMAX screenings and special experiences have their own schedules. The riverfront setting makes a walk before or after the aquarium a natural addition, especially if you leave gaps between booked activities.
