Coolidge Park opens onto the Tennessee River from Chattanooga's North Shore, with lawns and riverfront space around a restored historic carousel.

It is a good place for a relaxed break across the water from downtown, with room to walk and take in the surrounding river landscape.
The park and carousel operate differently, so check ride hours if that is a main reason for visiting. Nearby bridge and waterfront access can change during public works; use the city's current notices when planning a walking route between the North Shore and downtown.
