Tryon Creek State Natural Area protects a wooded creek landscape in southwest Portland.

Forest trails, footbridges and a nature center provide an accessible introduction to the region’s urban woodland habitats.
The photograph shows High Bridge during an earlier visit. Choose a route from the current state-park map and check trail advisories, seasonal gate hours and day-use parking requirements. Nature-center programs and guided activities have separate schedules. Keep to designated routes, respect restoration areas and prepare for wet or uneven surfaces beyond accessible paths. Confirm any particular trail or program before travelling.
