Warren G. Magnuson Park occupies a former naval airfield beside Lake Washington in northeast Seattle.

Wetlands, shoreline routes, grassy recreation areas, public art and surviving airfield buildings create a varied landscape, with walking routes linking different parts of the extensive grounds.
Check the city’s current park map and project notices for entrance diversions, playground work and facility access. Beach, boat-launch, sports and community-center activities have separate schedules or reservations. Keep to designated wetland routes and permitted dog areas, and distinguish public park spaces from occupied residential or operational buildings.
