The World Food Prize Hall of Laureates occupies Des Moines’ restored former public library.

Its exhibits and historic spaces explore global food security and the legacy of agricultural scientist Norman Borlaug and the World Food Prize.
Use the hall’s visitor schedule to arrange a public tour. The operator advertises guided Tuesday visits and separate appointment arrangements on other designated days; confirm availability before travelling. The photograph shows the same historic building during its library history. It is now a different destination from the city’s working public library system. Private events and conference activity can have access arrangements separate from a history tour.
