Yaquina Bay State Recreation Site combines coastal woodland and beach access near the mouth of the bay in Newport.

The historic Yaquina Bay Lighthouse forms part of the park’s heritage setting, while paths and shoreline views support a broader outdoor visit.
Check the current park information and separate lighthouse schedule before arriving. Lighthouse opening is seasonal and can change with volunteer availability or weather; some interior areas remain closed. The photograph shows a beach view from within the recreation site rather than the lighthouse interior or a current report of surf conditions.
