Aquatic Park in Berkeley combines a long lagoon with tree-lined walking and cycling routes.

A large playground, picnic areas and disc golf create additional reasons to stop beside the water.
Use current city notices before any permitted boating activity, as lagoon water quality is monitored and advisories can change. Swimming, bathing and fishing are prohibited. The pedestrian bridge connects the park with the bayfront trail network across Interstate 80. The photograph shows the lagoon and bridge setting. Keep to designated visitor routes and distinguish an ordinary waterside walk from activities that require equipment or a reserved area.
