Shorebird Park provides a family-oriented waterfront space on the southern side of the Berkeley Marina.

Play areas, picnic spaces and shoreline paths combine with environmental education at the nearby Shorebird Nature Center.
The city lists the park at 160 University Avenue and directs visitors from the South Cove West parking lot along a paved path. The nature center and nearby Adventure Playground have separate hours and participation rules. The photograph shows the actual park entrance and waterfront trees. Check current visitor information for any organized activity, and distinguish a casual shoreline visit from a reserved field trip or supervised playground program.
