The Park at the Berkeley Waterfront occupies a peninsula at the marina, with open grassy hills, paved paths and wide views across San Francisco Bay.

The former landfill landscape supports walking, kite flying and wildlife observation.
The city’s current visitor page uses the waterfront name for the park formerly known as César Chávez Park. Use 11 Spinnaker Way for the location and check posted rules for the designated off-leash dog area. Keep out of protected habitat and give wintering birds space. The photograph shows the actual open hill landscape. Follow paved paths where needed and prepare for exposed, breezy conditions beside the bay.
