Albany Hill Park protects a wooded rise above the East Bay shoreline.

Trails, viewpoints and links with nearby creekside open space connect visitors with a small but distinctive natural landscape surrounded by the city.
The photograph shows a view toward the hill during an earlier visit. Habitat restoration and wildfire-resilience work are underway, so use current city maps and respect temporary trail restrictions. Public routes pass near private land; stay within authorized park paths. Expect uneven ground and poison oak on some approaches, leave wildlife undisturbed and confirm the entrance and route suitable for your group before travelling.
